FAQ:

Are your dogs purebred?
Yes. All our dogs are Registered Purebred German Shepherd Dogs through the Canadian Kennel Club under the Kennel Name QADHUND. We do not cross breed with other breeds.

Do you have puppies available?
Probably not! We do not mass produce puppies, and typically have a wait list for our next 2-3 planned litters, so if you are interested please contact us today! (Sometimes our waitlist is for all females, or all males, so you might get one sooner than you think!)

Do you offer stud services?
Yes, but only to KC Registered Purebred bitches over 3 years of age & OFA Certified.

When do you take deposits for pups?
We only take deposits when we have little paws on the ground. We screen our homes very carefully to ensure the best placement for every puppy & reserve the right to refuse services to anyone.

Do you sell older dogs?
Rarely. Occasionally, we may have young dogs for sale. If you are looking for an older dog, please contact us & let us know what you are looking for. We work closely with many other local breeders & may be able to help you find your perfect partner.

What if it doesn’t work out?
Though we do screen our new puppy homes as carefully as possible, we understand that sometimes life circumstances change. If, at any point in your dogs’ life, you cannot care for him, we will take the dog back 100% of the time. None of our dogs will ever be placed in a shelter, as they have a permanent place in our home.

I’m worried about house breaking a new pup.
Our puppies are almost completely house trained by the time they go to their new homes. Yup, you read that right. By 7 weeks, most of our pups (with the occasional exception) are completely paper trained and can be “house broke” within a few days of going to their new homes!

Do you offer a Health Guarantee?
Yes. You will get, in a written contract, a 2 year Health Guarantee (this includes a Hip & Elbow Dysplasia Guarantee). All of our breeding stock is pre-screened & OFA Certified for Hip & Elbow Dysplasia & DM prior to breeding.

What do your dogs cost?
We do not have a set price for our puppies or dogs. Our puppies are priced from $1600-2200, depending on the parents and our older dogs start at $2500, based on training.

Why should I consider a Qadhund puppy?
Because when you purchase a puppy from QKK9, you get a lot more than just a dog. You are buying into a family. We love our dogs from the day they are whelped and for the rest of their lives. When you take your new K9 partner home, you also take home the peace of mind that you have a lifetime of breeder support & are buying into a community of people who love their dogs as much as you do.
All our dogs are health & temperament tested. They are OFA certified BEFORE we breed. All of our breeding stock have working & show titles to ensure we know what we are breeding. Our dogs all live with us on 10 acres. We have large indoor/outdoor dog runs and huge, fenced play yards. They are well socialized with people & animals. We even have a very stern cat who helps teach our baby puppies manners!
When you buy from QKK9, you can be confident you are taking home a strong, healthy dog to enjoy for many years.
